Innovation, Technology and Design
The Seven Traps of Innovation
There are seven traps that can kill any innovation effort. Johansson has worked with more than 2,000 teams worldwide to help anticipate and avoid these traps. He shares his insights in this talk packed with critical takeaways.
The Medici Effect
In this classic presentation, Johansson urges individuals and organizations to break down the silos and step into the “intersection”— a place where different fields, disciplines, departments, and cultures converge to create new, remarkable breakthroughs.
The Innovation Experience®
This is a four-hour, intense and immersive experience where Johansson takes an audience through a stunning session of creativity and innovation in the wild. It incorporates a mix of keynotes, fast-paced interactions, vivid imagery, music and memorable techniques specifically designed to provide deep takeaways.
The Innovative Leader: How to Break out of the Pack
Johansson addresses how to innovate in business while meeting the demands of non-stop performance. In this talk, he reveals to audiences how to rise to the tremendous challenges leaders face around innovation and standing apart from the crowd.
Overcoming the Fear of Failure
Even exceptionally capable leaders hold back out of fear they will fail and what the consequences of such a failure could be. In this talk, Johansson focuses on what leaders can do, both strategically and mentally, to overcome this fear and unleash their true potential.
Speed is the New IP
The shelf-life of traditional IP is trending towards zero. Instead, an organization's ability to move fast, respond to changing conditions, capitalize on unexpected success and scale rapidly are becoming the keys to future growth. This presentation helps attendees transform their company and drop execution from 12 months to 12 weeks, or even 12 days.
Hypergrowth: Boosting the Engine of Regional Economies
Johansson demonstrates how his “renaissance” ideas have driven regional growth throughout the world, such as at Medical City in Orlando, startup incubators in Sweden, and the economy of Trinidad and Tobago. In this talk, he shares how attendees can do the same in their region.
Diversity and Inclusion
Diversity Drives Innovation
Johansson demonstrates why diversity is a key driver in innovative success and how attendees can capitalize on this. This talk has singlehandedly invigorated organizational change across industries.
Reinventing Diversity and Inclusion
Johansson calls for a complete overhaul of the way organizations deliver on their diversity and inclusion promises. In this talk, he outlines the steps an organization must take to turn diversity and inclusion into a strategic force. This is the perfect follow-up talk to Diversity Drives Innovation.
The Click Moment
In today’s market, the rules are changing so fast that formulas for success are disintegrating, and multi million-dollar insights can strike anybody, anywhere, at any time.
In short, randomness is taking over.
The Click Moment is the first in-depth study of how randomness, serendipity and, yes, luck are the new normal. More than that, it is a compendium of 100% actionable information for how smart entrepreneurs, innovators and business leaders can set “bait” for their own click moments, notice them when they happen and harness their vast potential immediately.
If a good idea is a light bulb going off over your head, a true click moment is a supernova exploding at 100 billion degrees. Frans deciphers these miniature miracles, showing that success is random but randomness is ours to control.
The Medici Effect: What Elephants and Epidemics Can Teach Us About Innovation
Why do so many world-changing insights come from people with little or no related experience? Charles Darwin was a geologist when he proposed the theory of evolution. And it was an astronomer who finally explained what happened to the dinosaurs.
Frans Johansson’s The Medici Effect shows how breakthrough ideas most often occur when we bring concepts from one field into a new, unfamiliar territory, and offers examples how we can turn the ideas we discover into path-breaking innovations.
