Deanie Elsner is the president of U.S. Snacks at the Kellogg Company and a member of the corporation’s Global Leadership Team and Kellogg North America Leadership Team. Known for her innovative marketing leadership skills, Elsner heads a team of over 5,000 employees. Her unit is home to such landmark brands as Pringles, Keebler, and Cheez-It.
Prior to joining Kellogg in 2015, Elsner served in a variety of leadership roles at Kraft, most recently as Kraft Foods Chief Marketing Officer. During her 20 years with the organization she both introduced new brands and revitalized iconic names, from turning around Kraft’s European coffee business to integrating Boca Foods into the Oscar Meyer division and leading the reinvigoration of Kraft’s Lunchables brand. Prior to joining Kraft, Elsner gained valuable marketing experience at other consumer product giants including Quaker Oats, Johnson & Johnson, and Procter & Gamble.
Throughout her career Elsner has enjoyed working as a “passionate disruptor,” taking on difficult challenges and inspiring her teams to create bold plans for change and renewal in some of America’s largest consumer product corporations. Skilled at identifying trends and developing consumer-relevant marketing plans, Elsner enjoys sharing her experience with others taking on bold challenges and seeking innovative new marketing tactics.
