Innovation and change management expert Frans Johansson is author of one of the "Best Books on Innovation" (BusinessWeek) and one of the top 10 best business books of the year by Amazon. The Medici Effect: Breakthrough Insights at the Intersection of Ideas, Concepts, and Cultures summarizes Johansson’s thoughts on the positive impact diversity has on innovation and creativity. Fast Company named his follow-up book, The Click Moment, one of the top 10 best business books of the year.

Raised in Sweden, Johansson founded a software company, an international healthcare firm and a hedge fund. He is CEO of The Medici Group, a strategic consulting firm that promotes innovation through diversity. He has advised some of the world’s leading organizations, including The Walt Disney Company, Nike, IBM, Caterpillar, CNN, Novartis, and American Express, as well as startups, investment firms, government agencies and universities around the world. He has also appeared on national media such as “Anderson Cooper 360°” and CNBC's “The Business of Innovation,” and in publications Black Enterprise and Diversity Executive.

Johansson holds a B.S. in Environmental Science from Brown University and an M.B.A. from Harvard Business School.
