Peter Guber is a business executive, award-winning film producer, sports team owner, and bestselling author. Named 2016 Business Person of the Year by the Los Angeles Business Journal, Guber has a passion for sharing his deep and multifaceted experience as an executive and entrepreneur.

Guber is currently chairman and CEO of Mandalay Entertainment Group. Prior to joining Mandalay he was chairman and CEO of Sony Pictures Entertainment, and he has been a leading figure in a number of other iconic Hollywood studios. He has served as producer or executive producer on five films nominated for the Best Picture Academy Award, winning an Oscar for Rain Man. Guber’s many box office successes include The Color Purple, Batman, and Flashdance. He also owns Dick Clark Productions.

A major figure in the world of sports as well as in Hollywood, Guber is an owner of the Los Angeles Dodgers, co-owner and co-chairman of the Golden State Warriors, and a co-owner of the newly formed Los Angeles Football Club of Major League Soccer.

Guber enjoys teaching others the wisdom he’s garnered during his years in business. He serves as a full professor at the University of California, Los Angeles. Guber has written several books, including Shootout: Surviving Fame and (Mis)Fortune in Hollywood, which later became a long-running AMC series; and Tell To Win, a #1 New York Times bestseller.
